Payson Is Blessed With Generous People

Recently, several Payson residents got together and formed the Payson Baseball Boosters. Many hours, supplies and ideas have been donated by local businesses, parents, athletes, and people who love the game of baseball.

These people have an extreme interest in the youth of Payson. They have spent many hours improving the baseball field at Payson High School. Many more improvements are scheduled in the future.

The Boosters will help not only Payson High School baseball, but also Rim Country Middle School baseball, which will be in its second season this year.

As an RCMS student and baseball player, I want to thank Maurice Sweet for nor only initiating the Booster idea, but also for starting the Maverick baseball program of which I am a part. There are too many businesses and people to name, but without them, these ideas would not have been possible.

Payson is blessed to have such generous people who care about their community, and especially about their youth.
