Bethel Louise (Dobrinski) Purcell, 86, of Payson, died Feb. 14, 2004. She was born Dec. 31, 1917 in Packwaukee, Wis.
Mrs. Purcell was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Waves (Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service) U.S. Navy.
She and her husband, Charles, lived in San Francisco, Calif. for 35 years, where they raised their three sons. They have resided in Payson since 1981.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles Purcell; sons, Charles (Linda) of Roseville, Calif., Michael (Elizabeth) of Fort Worth, Texas and David of Phoenix; three grandchildren, Laurel, Paul and David; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at Mount Cross Lutheran Church in Payson. Burial will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
