My mother, who lives in Pennsylvania, sent me an article from Dr. Peter Gott, M.D. I wanted to pass this information on to my readers.
My daughter suffers from psoriasis and I figure if this works it would be worth the try. Dr. Gott said that he suffered from psoriasis for years. Then one day his wife was cleaning the bathroom with a cleaner called Lestoil. In desperation, he took a tissue, dampened it with the Lestoil and wiped the psoriasis. He said the itching stopped immediately. He then applied Lestoil for 10 days and it disappeared all together. It is a safe and inexpensive way. Only one problem I have not been able to locate any here in Payson. I am having some sent to me from back east.
If anyone knows were I can get some here, let me know. You can reach me at (928) 478-4519.
Psoriasis is not supposed to be curable. Wouldn't this be wonderful for all the sufferers of this itching disease.
The weather was really warm at the beginning of the week. It made you want to go out and plant something, but it is supposed to change to snow.
There is too much going on this weekend.
This Saturday, try out for a part in the melodrama at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Christopher Creek. Casting call starts at 10 a.m. There will be plenty of parts both large and small, maybe just a walk-on part would work for you. It sounds like fun.
Then head over to Creekside Steakhouse for the Hashknife Appreciation Party. The fun starts at 1p.m. with a $3 a plate BBQ sandwich, cowboy beans and coleslaw dinner. There will be 35 of the Hashknife Pony Express Riders on hand and you can meet them and have your picture taken with them. Entertainment will be provided by Jinx Pyle. He will also be doing a book signing on his novels, "Blue Fox" and "Through the Smoke."
It's going to be a fun afternoon. Plus it will get you out of the house and the weatherman is calling for snow.
