Lucille (Lou) Chadick, 86, died Feb. 14, 2004. She was born Aug. 4, 1917 in Spokane, Wash., and lived most of her adult life in California.
She and her husband, Frith, moved to Arizona in 1978. Frith died in 1988.
She married James M. Chadick in 1997. Lucille and James owned and operated the Black Bear Restaurant and Lounge in Strawberry for eight years before retiring to Mesa.
Mrs. Chadick is survived by her daughter, Kim Turner of Mesa; sister, Leona Wharton of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and three stepchildren, James Chadick, Jr. of Wilmington, Calif., Sharon Dragicevich of Palmdale, Calif. and Lucinda LaTourneau of Pisek, N.D.
In lieu of flowers and donations, the family only asks that Lucille (Lou) be remembered in the hearts of all her friends in Strawberry and Pine.
