"We found the stolen truck out on Crackerjack Road," Gila County Sheriff's Det. George Ratliff said. "It was all shot up with a gun (Wirth) had stolen when he took the truck."

Ratliff said Wirth may have several guns, knives and swords in his possession.

The sheriff's office has been trying to track Wirth through some bad checks he has written around Arizona.

"The evidence we have puts him in the Payson area since Jan. 16," Ratliff said.

Ratliff said Wirth is a known drug user, has a criminal history in Colorado, Montana and Arizona. He has an extraditable warrant out of Colorado.

Wirth is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. Wirth has several tattoos including a dragon on his upper left arm, a sun on his upper right arm and a large tattoo covering his back.
