Watching the Democratic primary debates unfold in front of the nation's eyes has been like having a root canal.
Even "Hardball with Chris Matthews" on MSNBC failed to provide deciding factors on the one question plaguing many Democrat minds: Who has the best chance to beat Bush?
An ex-general? A doctor? A senator? What about a reverend? A congressman? Anybody? How about an ambassador?
If debates and speeches about national security, health care reform and shooing Bush out of office for good haven't yet prompted Democrats to make a decision, their heads must be spinning.
This is a tough primary, even if the bumper stickers do read "Anyone But Bush ‘04."
And in less than 29 days, Arizona Democrats will have to cast their vote for one out of nearly a dozen.
