Q: How do we maintain water levels at Green Valley Park lakes, especially now that helicopters are taking water from them?

A: According to Payson Public Works Director Buzz Walker, more water is being put in Green Valley lakes than is being taken out by the helicopters. The Northern Gila County Sanitary District's priorities are first to maintain lake levels and then to provide irrigation for Green Valley Park, and finally to serve its customers including the school district and Chaparral Pines.
