The list is impressive --ichael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Jordan Hinton.
How did a 13-year-old Tonto Apache get his name mentioned with some of the greatest professional basketball players in the world?
They have something in common: all were former participants in The Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camps.
Participation in the prestigious camp is by invitation only and Hinton received his last spring after learning about the camp in the Roundup.
Hinton -- the son of Alex and Kathy Hinton -- describes himself as a basketball junkie who has always wanted to attend a top-notch camp like The Ten Star.
His stay at the camp held on the campus of Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif. was from June 13 to 17.
There also were skill drills, hoop contests, scrimmages and league games.
The team he was on won the age group championship at the camp.
Hinton said the experience was fun and one that allowed him to fulfill his dream of being able to play basketball for hours on end.
In addition to attending the camp, Hinton was a member of Dream Team town-league squad that won a Tonto Apache-sponsored tournament last spring.
He hopes to one day play in the NBA.
