Coconino County has been cooperative

Editor:
I would like to correct some misinformation in the July 2 article concerning the investigation into the shooting of Grant Kuenzli. It is not true that no one from the Coconino County Attorney's Office has contacted the Payson Humane Society.
Deputy County Attorney Roberta McVickers has contacted the humane society and has kindly informed us of the status of the case. It is still under investigation and scheduled to go before a grand jury in the near future. Ms. McVickers is the person who let us know about the sheriff's office's intent to interview possible witnesses in the Payson area.
Anyone who believes that they have any relevant information concerning Grant or the three dogs should contact the Coconino County Sheriff's Office. If they prefer, they can provide contact information to me, which I will forward to the County Attorney's Office for the investigator.

Question of the week
What is the most important issue in Payson? The economic state of the schools, or the economic state of the county?
