I recently came across an important quotation that has a direct application to the world in which we live today. The venerable Albert Einstein said, "The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people in it who are evil, but because of the people that don't do anything about it."
That is the situation we have today. There are a lot of evil people in the world that don't value human life as we do and think nothing of killing innocent people just because we don't believe in the religion they do.
When they killed 3,000 of our citizens on 9/11/01, our country decided to do something about it, and we are heavily engaged in fighting this evil. The worst part of this, however, is the verbal attacks we receive from some countries and from some of our own citizens and politicians stabbing us in the back and trying to prevent us from doing something about it. And that is wrong. That is very wrong.
It behooves us to remember these politicians when we go to vote in November.
