Richard A. Dietz, 71, of Whispering Pines, died July 3, 2004. He was born Feb. 1, 1933 in Fargo, N.D.

Mr. Dietz served in the Air Force, taught school in Arizona and worked for the City of Los Angeles Parks and Recreation in California.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

Burial will be in Whapeton, N.D.

Arrangements handled by Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
