Editor:

At the July 13 Pine-Strawberry Water Improvement District meeting in Pine, many concerns were expressed about the proposed 2004/2005 PSWID budget. The public was assured that prior to the PSWID budget meeting a detailed accounting of outstanding expenditures and commitments would be made available. In addition, as previously requested of John Nelson, an up-to-date Treasurer's report would be provided detailing the expenses for consulting and legal services. You also said that the PSWID budget meeting would be held in Pine.

The public notice of the budget meeting provides none of the information promised and sets the meeting place for Globe. We request that this situation be rectified immediately by providing us with the information promised and holding the budget meeting in Pine.
