The 120th Annual World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo comes to the Payson Event Center Thursday, Aug. 19 through Sunday, Aug. 22.
Each performance will include a special appearance by the 2003 PRCA Entertainer of the Year, Tommy Lucia, featuring Whiplash, the Cowboy Monkey and In His Glory, the Super Horse.
Rodeo performances are slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20; 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21; and 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22.
A crowd favorite, Mutton Bustin', will be held at each performance.
In addition to all the great rodeo action, don't miss the annual Rodeo Parade at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 on the Beeline Highway.
Ticket prices are as follows: adults, $14; senior citizens, $12; children between the ages of 5 and 12, $7; children under the age of 5 are admitted free.
For local residents, tickets for the Friday evening performance are 2-for-1 if purchased in advance at the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, 100 W. Main Street.
