Free The Non-Violent Older Inmates

Rep. Jackson Lee's bill in Congress, to free non-violent older inmates from prison, is a step in the right direction.

First of all, there is no penalty, under God's perfect laws, for taking or selling drugs. In fact, in the 30s and 40s, we could buy opium, cyanide and other dangerous drugs without a prescription. However, if you killed someone with drugs, you were killed.

God's laws are simple. No harm, no foul. There is no provision for imprisonment. If you kill, rape, kidnap, commit adultery, fornication or sodomy, you were killed. If you steal, you pay back three to five times the value of what you stole. If you cannot pay, you are a slave to the victim until restitution. Yes, God permits slavery.

It averages $22,000 a year to house an inmate ($65,000 for some older inmates). It's crazy to imprison them.
