The children and grandchildren of Woody and Naomi Harris are pleased to announce a Golden Anniversary Open House being held in their honor, Saturday, June 5, 2004, 6 p.m. -- 9 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 913 S. Ponderosa St. Payson, AZ. Program at 7:00 p.m. Light hors d'oeuvers and refreshments will be served.

Woody Harris and Naomi Barker were married in Phoenix, AZ, on June 4, 1954. They have raised four children -- Robert, Blaine, Susan, and Alice. And have 10 grandchildren. They were sealed to each other in the Mesa, AZ Temple in June of 1959. Woody retired from the Phoenix Fire Department after 25 years of service as a Fire Captain and currently works part time for the Payson Fire Department. Naomi worked hard as a housewife and mother as well as working several different jobs after the children were older. Currently Naomi volunteers raising funds for the Payson Regional Medical Center. Naomi and Woody are active in their LDS Ward and are enjoying their semi-retirement in Payson. The family is very proud of Woody and Naomi for loving each other through all the ups and downs and keeping our family together.
