Just read with disbelief the front-page article in Friday's paper about the three faculty members from the Rim Country Middle School who have been placed on paid administrative leave for having the temerity to express their opinions at a recent faculty meeting.mm!Very interesting!
The school superintendent andthe school principals need to take a refresher course in American Government/Civics to restudy thoroughly the rights given to Americans under our Constitution, particularly those in the Bill of Rights such as freedom of expression.
It appears from what I read that only the school administrators are free to express opinions and make decisions without repercussions butre permitted toisregardthe same rightsf their subordinates.
Surely, anndemocratic perception! And from academics -- no less!
