The Payson Women's Golf Association is looking for a few good members.
Because paid membership is down to about 24, the PWGA is inviting women golfers to hook up with the organization.
"We have a fun time. Our new members would too," PWGA member Alesha Calderwood said.
A kick-off breakfast will be at 9:30 a.m. April 13 at Tiny's Restaurant. Following the meal and a brief meeting, a nine-hole tournament will be played at Payson Golf Course. Applications for membership in the PWGA are available at the meeting or at the PGC pro shop.
The fee is $40 per season or $44 for those interested in entering any of the Arizona Women's Golf Association Northern District tournaments.
The PWGA season runs through mid-November.
During the season, tournaments are played at 9 a.m. each Tuesday morning. On the last Friday of each month, a mixer with the Payson Mens' Golf Association is held.
The women's' association also hosts five major tournaments each season. They are the President's Cup, Arizona State Medallion, Jack & Jill, Club Championship and the PWGA Memorial.
