Q: What's up with the plans to change the traffic pattern at the airport?
A: Initially, the town had targeted making the change in May, but an official Federal Aviation Administration notice could not be published until June, according to Ted Anderson, manager of the airport. Adding to the need to make a change was the May 22 Aero Fair, he said. A May change would not have provided enough time to notify everyone who participates in the event. Anderson said the change shifts the airport activity from the south to the north and may not have an impact on the approach pilots make to the field.
