The Pine-Strawberry Archeological & Historical Society is looking for permanent and substitute volunteers to assist with greeting visitors, answering phones and providing information to visitors to the Pine-Strawberry Museum.
Whether you have lived here for many years or are new to the area, volunteering at the Pine-Strawberry Museum is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about the area's culture and history and help keep the museum open to our many visitors.

Looking Glass Books and Gifts in Pine has a full schedule of events and classes during May with something for everyone.
Children's Story Hour is Saturday, May 8, at 10:30 a.m. Two stories will be read followed by a craft project geared to children 3 through 6 years of age. For more information, call 928- 476-4771.
A luau, sponsored by Strawberry's Elite, will be held Sunday, May 16 from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Black Bear Restaurant in Strawberry. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Included on the menu will be roast pig and sweet and sour chicken. Trouble in Paradise will entertain. Come dressed in your Hawaiian favorites or some will be provided for you. All the money raised will be used to help children and families in Pine and Strawberry.
Scrapbooking Night at Looking Glass Books and Gifts is Tuesday, May 18, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Beginning to advanced scrapbookers are invited to an open crop night. The evening is free, but reservations are necessary due to space limitations. Call 928-476-4771.
The Strawberry Festival is Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13. Many volunteers are needed to make this huge event a success. Visitors come from all over the state. We want to show them a great time.
