We note, with interest, Otis and J.D. Wells letter to the editor. hey pose a very significant question that should be on all our minds as we go to the polls to vote on the school override.
We quote: There are a lot of homeowners that never had children, so why should they have to support the schools?"
The answer is equally significant: because someone footed the bill to make sure they had an adequate education.
Their idea of creating a school tax that everyone pays is ludicrous -- it will never happen and in the meantime "kids" pay for their lack of support.
Stand up for the students. Please vote yes.
