You can certainly tell that summer is on its way. The activities seem to be non-stop in Pine and Strawberry. There is always something to do.

The Rim Country Kiwanis Club, in conjunction with the Reading Is Fundamental program, recently presented "Clifford, the Big Red Dog," to the preschool through third grades at the Pine Strawberry School. Club members read books to the children and each student was able to choose a book to take home and keep. The snack for this special event was, what else, dog bone cookies. Clifford, in his bright red suit, is always a big hit.
