Jack and Bert Foy celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary a few months early by taking a 42-day journey to Homer, Alaska on their Honda Goldwing motorcycle.
They were married in Seattle Oct. 21, 1949.
They have two sons: Thomas Patrick Foy of Glendale, Ariz. and John Jennings Foy III of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two granddaughters.
Jack and Bert built their summer home in Payson in 1979 and retired full-time to the community in 1993.
