Tobias "Toby" Zertuche, one of 16 suspects arrested in a mid-September drug sweep, has had three of the four charges made against him vacated, according to documents from the Gila County Superior Court.
Zertuche was originally charged with three counts of possession of marijuana for transport or sale and one charge of possession of a dangerous drug for transport or sale.
He now only faces one class three felony count of sale of marijuana.
"I feel that for the sake of my personal and work reputation ... it is extremely important ... to know that only one of four charges have been brought against me," Zertuche said in a letter to the Payson Roundup.
He said he expects to receive vindication for the one remaining offense.
