With the holidays fast approaching, cooking enthusiasts are bringing out their favorite recipes for festive fare.
The Payson Roundup invites all Rim country cooks to share their favorite holiday dishes with our readers.
We'll showcase your recipes in a special holiday publication that will feature not only your dishes, but also your favorite Christmas carols.
We encourage our readers to submit as many beloved recipes as possible. Please send them to Editor, Payson Roundup, P.O. Our office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All recipes -- from soup to nuts, plus cakes, pies, cookies, candy, syrups, sauces and beverages -- are welcome.
We want you to share your to-die-for fudge recipe; grandma's coveted fruitcake, and the homemade adult egg nog you serve after the children go to bed.
No dish is too common for us. It just might be the recipe for sweet potato pie your neighbor shredded accidentally with the tax documents last year.
Write down your recipes and get them to the Roundup by Nov. 19 so we can publish your holiday cooking best. Be sure to include the little touches you use to make your recipes stand out.
Christmas meals will have more meaning when the community shares their family traditions.
