Melvin Martin, 78, of Pine, died Nov. 14, 2004. He was born March 6, 1926 in Mesa.
He was the youngest of 11 children, and graduated from Mesa High School in 1944.
Mr. Martin was a Navy World War II veteran.
He was an operator engineer with R.P. Richard Plumbing and retired after 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Lorenia Martin of Pine; daughter, Sandra Tomney of Ogden, Utah; sons, Don Martin of Bagdad, Ariz. and Timothy Mel Martin of Lompoc, Calif.; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Allen Clinton Martin.
A private family memorial will be held.
