Payson Humane Society is sniffing out good owners for homeless pets.
How unfortunate to wake up behind bars Christmas morning. The Payson Humane Society wants to unite deserving people with loving pets to make this a more joyous holiday season for all! From Nov. 15 through Jan. 2, the Humane Society is joining with hundreds of other shelters across the country for "Home 4 the Holidays," an adoption campaign sponsored by the Helen Woodward Animal Center and the Iams Pet Food Company.
Every pet adopted from the shelter during this time will receive a special adoption kit. Each person who adopts a pet from the Payson shelter will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle for $100 of veterinary service, courtesy of PAWS in the Park.
Pets cost $60, which includes spaying or neutering. During this time, we are offering puppies for $40 each, or $60 for two to qualified people.
The shelter is located at 812 S. McLane Road, just south of Main Street. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and until 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
For more information, contact the shelter at (928) 474-5590.
If you can't support an animal in your home at this time, please still support your local shelter.
