We commend Karen Burback, of the MVD, for not compromising the standards set to obtain an Arizona driver's license.
Mr. Larby showed his lack of regard for integrity and rules.
We wonder if he tries to coerce the teachers to change test scores or homework grades if his daughter fails to meet his desires.
All Mr. Larby had to do was to recognize that his daughter needed more instruction and practice and return another day.
Did it occur to him that at that point his daughter could be an accident waiting to happen because of her lack of driving skills and understanding (or following) rules?
Driving is a privilege, not a right.
Mr. Larby is a poor example to our young people who need to learn to take privileges and responsibilities seriously.
