Bush Banned Barbaric Procedure

Regarding Mr. Reza's letter of Oct. 15, "Bush, Cheney not pro-life," we would like to point out that President Bush signed into law the banning of partial birth abortions.

John Kerry is an advocate of partial birth abortions, as is Bill Clinton.

Partial birth abortion is a procedure that is barbaric and should not be performed. The procedure is done when a child has been in the mother's womb for more than five months. It involves pulling a baby out, feet first, from the mother's womb, piercing the skull and suctioning out the baby's brain.

God bless President Bush for signing into law a ban against the barbaric procedure.
