Patriot Day ceremonies will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 in Green Valley Park at the large gazebo adjacent to the Veterans Memorial.
"Payson Remembers" is a community patriotic sunset vigil to remember the tragedy of 9/11 and pledge our resolve to protect and defend our democratic freedoms.
There will be a musical interlude, patriotic music, tribute to the flag, guest speakers, inspirational prayer, silent tribute and much more. All citizens, particularly our youth, are urged to participate by attending.
