Dorothy (Dottie) Ann Phillips, 73, of Payson, died Sept. 4, 2004. She was born March 3, 1931 in Iron Mountain, Mich.
She moved to Arizona in 1931 with her parents, William and Eleanor Abbott, and seven brothers and sisters. The family homesteaded in the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix.
She attended Creighton Elementary School and Phoenix Union High School.
The Phillipses resided in Soldatna, Alaska until their move to Payson in 1992.
She was a loving mother, grandparent and friend and will be missed by family and friends alike.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband of 26 years, George Phillips; brothers, Roger (Shirley) Abbott and Thomas (Virginia) Abbott; three children, Carl (Val) Ellis of Aumsville, Ore., Victoria (George) Randall of Payson and Jenny (Danny) Winton of Redding, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Mountain Bible Church in Payson.
