Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic Coming To Town

Low-cost spay/neuter surgeries will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis by the Arizona Humane Society's mobile clinic beginning at 7 a.m. Sept. 14-16 at the Bashas' parking lot, 142 E. Highway 260.

Nine-year-old Matthew Babb brings his cat to the Arizona Humane Society's mobile clinic.

All pets must be at least 2 months, but no more than 5 years old, and weigh at least 2.5 pounds. All pets must have fasted (no food) for 12 hours prior to surgery. Dogs must be on a leash, cats must be in carriers or pillowcases.

Pets will go home the same day as the surgery, so owners should be prepared to pick up their pet at the designated time and to keep them indoors following the surgery.

Surgical fees are as follows: male cats $25, female cats $35, male dogs $45, female dogs $55-$65.
