Beatrice Mae Hall died Sept. 12, 2004 after a long illness. She was born Sept. 16, 1917 in Port Huron, Mich.
She married Henry Marcus in 1937 and in 1948 they moved to Colorado Springs, Colo. along with three small children.
She worked as a secretary for Farmers Insurance Group, and later with her husband in his insurance business.
Mr. Marcus died in 1961.
In 1965, she married Harry Hall. They wanted to enjoy retirement so they moved to Glenwood Springs, Colo. where they lived during the summer months and in Mesa during the winter months.
Eventually, they moved full-time to Mesa where they enjoyed their hobby of building and decorating miniature doll houses.
After Mr. Hall died in 1994, she decided to move to Payson to live with her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Glenn Smith.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her son, Robert Marcus of Prescott; daughters, Barbara Long of Montana and Sherry Smith of Payson; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Slyford; and brother, Voight Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday Sept. 16 at Payson United Methodist Church, 414 N. Easy St.
