George Edward Mayer, 76, of Payson, died Sept. 15, 2004. He was born Sept. 30, 1927 in St. Paul, Minn.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; son, George Jr. (Peggy) of Payson; son, David (Patricia) of Grand Rapids, Mich.; daughter, Teri (Bill) Eichinger of Flagstaff; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 at the First Assembly of God Church, with visitation at noon.
