Joyce Grove Ceyler, 69, of Payson, died Sept. 19, 2004 at the RTA Hospice House, Payson. She was born Nov. 16, 1935 in Waynesboro, Pa., the daughter of Walter Y. and Marion P. Grove.
She graduated from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1957. She was a member of the Tucson Sunbonnet Garden Club, Nogales Chapter of the Arizona Cowbelles, the Payson Women's Golf Association and past president of the Santa Cruz Humane Society of Nogales.
She was in failing health since October 2003 and entered the hospice facility Sept. 10, 2004.
Mrs. Ceyler loved life, people and all creatures great and small. She enjoyed gardening, golfing, reading, and horseback riding. She was a long time winter resident of Arizona, moved permanently to Arizona in 1992 and to Payson in 2001.
She will surely be missed by her husband, family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Ceyler of Payson; stepdaughter, Gay Ganowicz of Evansville, Ind.; three stepsons: Marty, Tom and Patrick Fredrickson of Washington; two sisters: Angela G. Wragly and Eunice G. Stather of Waynesboro, Pa. and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, and two brothers.
Services will be held in Waynesboro, Pa. at the convenience of the family.
