Alice Marian Dutton, 74, died Sept. 25, 2004 in Mesa. She was born Aug. 9, 1930 in Hebron, N.H.
She moved to Arizona in the late 1950s, working with TransAmerica Title Company until 1960. She then moved with her husband, Kenneth John Dutton, to Tucson.
After being widowed for several years, she moved to Rye in 1988 and spent the next 16 years with her loving companion, Don Garvin.
Her smile and wit will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her companion, Don Garvin; sister, Jean; son, Kenneth V. (Anne) Dutton and their children, John and Jessi; daughter, Sherrian (George) States and their children, Brad and Kendra; brother, Ray C. (Shirley) Dutton and their sons, Roger and Steve; several nieces and nephews; and the family of Don Garvin: his son, Donny Garvin; daughter, Danell (Wayne) Loy and their children, Keaton and Witney; daughter, Donna (Bob) Cox and their son, Michael.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1 in Double Buttes Cemetery in Tempe.
