The Firebelles are planning a pie fest and they need your help to bake. For those of you who can't bake, support the group by purchasing the homemade pies.
The apple trees are full this year, and I happen to know that some of those apples make delicious pies.
The pie fest is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16. The Firebelles will offer complimentary blood pressure screening and raffle tickets for their quilt will be sold. The raffle will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, along with a potluck and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Christopher/Kohl's Fireboard meeting has been moved to the third Monday of the month due to Columbus Day. It will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Oct. 18.
The Christopher Creek Octoberfest is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 16 and Sunday, Oct. 17. If you are a crafter or a vendor, call Kevin at the Landmark, (928) 478-4472.
