Payson Athletic Club

The Payson Athletic Club offers a huge array of strength and cardio equipment, aerobic classes, tanning, personal training, child care and our phenomenal MHAX III Health Plus program offered in partnership with Mogollon Health Alliance.

Our philosophy is to promote and assist our community's excellence in health and fitness. Our target market is our friends and neighbors who want to improve their quality of life, their appearance, and their mental attitude.

In 2004, we reduced prices for the dues and tanning. Our equipment has been upgraded and aerobics classes have expanded. In 2005, we have a new aerobic mini-trampoline class, and the juice bar will reopen.

The club is family owned and operated. We are the largest health club in the Rim country, and the only club with child care. Our MHAX III-Health Plus program is designed and supervised by our Clinical Exercise Specialist, Beth Rimmer, RN. The program is located in a private setting within the Payson Athletic Club.

Since we've been in the business, our memberships have significantly increased. Our members are happy and satisfied because our staff is here to pamper and serve them. We plan on further expansion of the facility, exciting new classes and new innovative equipment, because we want to provide our members with the best.

We have a total of 30 employees, and our hours of operation are 4 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 4 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday; 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. Phone: (928) 474-0916.

It is our belief that the NAPA preventive maintenance program extends the life of a vehicle.

We are a family owned business, celebrating our 20th year in business, and we are the only AAA-approved auto repair facility in Payson. We have six employees to serve you and our hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Since we've been in business, we've seen more sophisticated vehicles coming out every year, with more power in electrical systems.

It is our aim to form lasting/trusting relationships with all of our customers. We hope to expand our product lines sometime in the future.

We offer a low teacher-to-student-ratio; we are DES certified; we have clubs and recreation time and computers with learning games. We have seen many children coming to us who need the kind of services that we offer, rather than just needing a babysitter.

We see our business growing to a point where we will need to add staff so we can continue to help children of the Rim country. Payson and the surrounding areas are growing and younger families are moving into the area. We see Payson continuing to grow and expand, which will cause our services to be needed more and more in the community.

Precision Radiator and Automotive, Inc.

Precision Radiator and Automotive, Inc. is a complete automotive service and repair, both foreign and domestic. Our business philosophy is when you want it repaired right the first time, call Precision. We service customers who try to keep their vehicles maintained correctly. In the long run, this saves our customers money while keeping their vehicles safer.

We are constantly adding new product lines as our customers' wants and needs change, and look forward to new products as they are introduced.

We are one of the only full service repair facilities in Payson -- complete automobile repair and service, complete radiator shop, and complete exhaust shop, along with car and truck accessories.

We have grown from the simple repair of automotive systems in the seventies to our complex computer systems of today. We place extreme emphasis on our training and the latest diagnostic equipment.

In this time of advanced computer controlled vehicles, our business will boom, as some repair shops will fall behind on training and equipment needs for new vehicles, thus increasing the need for up-to-date, qualified repair. The days of repairing your vehicle at home are a thing of the past. We look forward to seeing a bright economic future for all businesses in Payson this year.

Precision Radiator is at 1005 S. Goodfellow, and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phone: (928) 474-6898.

Since they've been in business, they've expanded because of more interest in the creative arts. Barbara says they've also seen husbands who are very supportive of their wife's passion for quilting. They see a future with more diverse artistic expression, and people who are not afraid of individuality and exploring.

Realty Executives

"Our goal is to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction in providing real estate services," said Sally Cantrill, owner/broker of Realty Executives.

"Not only do we want to help people buy and sell real estate, but we want our clients to know they can call us anytime for any questions they may have on the community, real estate, or simply where to go for a particular service.

"We want to be our client's source for information. As working owners and brokers, we have a different company plan than most. As working owners, the executives we hire will share in the expenses of the corporation, giving them more of a voice as we grow."

Serving the entire Rim country, owners Steve and Sally Cantrill have the property that's just right for you.

"We offer a full line of real estate services from re-sale residential, new homes, horse properties, golf community property and commercial," Sally said.

Growth is inevitable, and with 10 executives, Realty Executives has the staff and talent to handle your needs.

"As owners of Realty Executives Payson and the Pines, we continue to grow our company," Sally said. "We want our team of executives to be the most professional, well-trained, and experienced in the Rim country.

"We continue to see a steady but controlled growth, interest in Payson as a second home market and people relocating from various areas of the United States for a more relaxed living style in an environment that brings fresh air and easy access to the metro area of Phoenix.

"We see our business as one of the top and foremost respected companies in the Payson regional marketplace.

"We know that the buyers and sellers want a high level of professionalism, and that is what we expect from our agents. Therefore, not every Realtor can become an Executive."

We are in the process of becoming a Banks Power Equipment dealer. A new four-post lift handling vehicles to 18,000 pounds is also in the business plan.

Strawberry Auto Service is a small facility, but we have a very well stocked, equipped and clean business. Our two technicians are well-trained and motivated people.

Business through the winter months has increased, and full-time resident numbers are on the rise. We see a gradual increase in the number of customers, and our eventual new work bay and customer lounge addition.

In the past year, they have expanded their computer-based diagnostics and added customer e-mail reminders. This year, they will hold customer car care clinics.

It appears that with the rising cost of new cars, customers are keeping their vehicles longer, so more technologically advanced equipment and training are necessary to keep up with today's cars.

They see a strong economic growth, higher than average property value increases, and the need for affordable housing in Rim country.
