James E. "Butter" Embree, 62, of Phoenix, died April 2, 2005. He was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Mesa, Ariz.
He was in the U.S. Air Force, and was a former resident of Payson and Chandler, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; sister, Ann Lee Lyons; sisters-in-law, Mary Embree and Theresa Raymond; many nieces, nephews and good friends.
