Walter Lyle "Skip" Randall, 66, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico, where he had lived for almost 17 years. He was born March 21, 1939 in Phoenix to Melvin and Evva Grant Randall.
Mr. Randall loved Mexico and the ocean, where he could fish and play his music. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sharon; son, Steven (Chaurice) Randall of Gilbert; four daughters, Dawn (Ken) Bryden of Gilbert, Karen (Jere) Lemieux of Queen Creek, Ann (Bob) Merrill of Draper, Utah, and Shannon (Steve) Calvert of Tucson; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Grant (Martha) of Mesa, and Rony (Pat) of Payson.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 2 at the LDS Church in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. MacDonald, Mesa.
