Resident's 90th Birthday Celebrated

Perry Epley, Payson resident, celebrated his 90th birthday and people began arriving on Friday, July 29, 2005. They came from Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, California and Oregon. Young and old joined together to celebrate his birth and life. Perry, an active member of the Payson community since 1982, turned 90 on July 30, 2005.

Now, he is a resident of the Payson Care Center.

In years past, he drove the school bus, was a leader at the Senior Center and very active in the church community. His friends turned out in force for the celebration held in the Nazarene Church. There were 90 people were in attendance. He received more than 100 cards. Roses arrived from New York, and Janet Janes, a concert pianist, provided the entertainment. Perry was thrilled, and all who attended enjoyed food, fun and fellowship, while taking a moment to honor him
