Trina M. Carroll died Nov. 30, 2005. She was born July 8, 1943 to Dave and Del Mazzetti in Spring Valley, Ill.
In 1961 she married Jim Carroll. The couple moved to Phoenix and raised three children.
Mrs. Carroll attended nursing school at Scottsdale Community College, receiving her degree in 1978. She worked at St. Luke's in Phoenix and in several area nursing homes in the Valley.
In 1995, she and her husband moved to Payson. She spent a few years catering in Payson with I.T. Catering and returned to nursing at Payson Care Center and most recently at RTA Hospice.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, James Carroll of Payson; daughter, Lori Woodward (David) of Phoenix; sons, David Carroll (Deena) of Northbrook, Ill. and Michael Carroll of Branson, Mo.; mother, Delphine Mazzetti of Peru, Ill.; sisters, Mary Jane Johnson (Larry) of Geneva, Ill. and Davida Crain (Steven) of Chandler; six grandchildren, Kayden, Madison, Jaymes, Colette, Taylor and Chloe; sisters-in-law Madeline Galley and Eleanore Heiss; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 S. St. Phillips Street.
