This weekend, two special Christmas programs are planned.
The Payson First Assembly of God will have a live Nativity display, "He is Born" from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10.
The evening will feature live actors and animals, free popcorn, hot cider and gifts for the children. There will also be Dickens-style carolers singing songs of the season, and there will be snow.
As part of the evening's activities, the church will collect Toys for Tots. Donations will be given to the Payson police and fire departments for distribution to the Rim Country's children in need.
So, plan to enjoy a special Christmas program and bring a new, unwrapped toy or canned goods to share the spirit of the season with your neighbors in need.
The Payson Christian Ministerial Fellowship will present its annual holiday program at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Payson High School auditorium.
There is no admission, but donations will be accepted to help the fellowship with the cost of the programs it provides for the community.
