Girls Help Animals

Renee DiBernardo and her sister, Carly DiBernardo, students at the Tonto Basin School, are on a mission to help the Payson Humane Society's needy animals.

"I was with my sister and my friends Shelby and Jamie at the shelter and we saw a poster that the humane society was collecting empty ink cartridges and old cell phones," said Renee.

"We've been putting posters up in the school saying that we want ink cartridges and cell phones for the animal shelter," Carly said.

Empty ink cartridges and old cell phones can be dropped off at the Payson Humane Society, 812 S. McLane Road, or in care of the DiBernardo sisters at Tonto Basin School.
