Renee Lenzmeier, 75, of Payson, died Dec. 17, 2005 in Phoenix. She was born Renee Blow Nov. 10, 1930 in Montpelier, N.D.
Mrs. Lenzmeier was the oldest child of Lester and Wilma (Gullickson) Blow. She was reared in Wyndmere, N.D. and Breckenridge, Minn. While working at the Red Owl store in Breckenridge, she met Ralph Lenzmeier. They were high school sweethearts and were married Jan. 11, 1948 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moorhead, Minn.
Mrs. Lenzmeier is survived by her husband and caregiver, Ralph; eight children, Timothy (Ginger) Lenzmeier of Pueblo, Colo., Linda (Harry) Bosch of Fargo, N.D., Randee (Bob) Kragerud of Payson, Jason (Linda) Lenzmeier of Looms, Calif., Steven (Debbie) Lenzmeier of Mesa, Jeff (Jackie) Lenzmeier of Mesa, Larry (Rose) Lenzmeier of Sacramento, Calif., Jon (Gretchen) Lenzmeier of Payson; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four brothers and sisters, Dennis Blow of Pinehurst, NC, Jean (Russ) Bernstein of Fargo, N.D., David (Andy) Blow of Walker, Minn. and Carol Dee Black of Tempe.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Matthew, and her mother and father.
A visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at the Lenzmeier residence. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 511 S. St. Phillips St. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road in Phoenix.
