Payson Elks Lodge No. 2154 and Don Heizer, counselor of Payson High School, have announced the senior students of the month for October, November and December.
- October: Meghan Glick and Luke Apfel
- November: Della Elliott and Adam Zacharias
- December: Carina Peters and Dustin Bellah
Glick will graduate in December 2005. She is enrolled for the spring semester 2006 at Mesa Community College (MCC) where she plans to obtain a 2-year degree, then attend Arizona State University where she will focus her studies in either law or medicine.
Apfel's plans are to finish high school with the hope of being offered a football scholarship. He plans to study wildlife biology and wants to eventually become a game warden.
Elliott's interests are writing and physical therapy. She plans to move to Colorado in the summer and will pursue higher education there.
Zacharias plans to attend ITT Technical Institute upon high school graduation.
Peters has plans to move to Los Angeles in the summer and will enroll in the American Musical and Dramatic Arts (AMDA) school with the hope of becoming a professional actress.
Bellah intends to enroll in Gila Community College and eventually transfer to the University of Arizona, where he plans to obtain a degree in pharmacy.
Each received a $50 Savings Bond in recognition of their achievements.
