I find it hard to believe that Payson would think of accepting a water well in Star Valley as an acceptable long term source.
Without considering the fact that what they propose to do is at best unethical and at worst illegal, the town would end up maintaining pumping stations and miles of pipeline for which the current population has no need and shouldn't be required to pay.
And when -- not if -- a lowering of the water table occurs for whatever reason and the flow to the city is reduced or stopped by supply or lawsuits, then what?
We are stuck with the problem, the development has occurred and the principles are off to another project while the city deals with the problem. The citizens and taxpayers need to speak out and stop this nonsense before it is to late.
