Bashas' supermarket in Payson, 142 E. Highway 260, will have a pharmacy and Cub House Play Center when remodeling is completed Feb. 21.
Ron De Los Reyes will be the pharmacy manager for the Payson Bashas'. De Los Reyes has worked in Payson for 18 years and received his doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Southern California. He will be joined by Pharmacist Stephanie Koch-Prest and Pharmacy Technician Cathy Hawley, who have both worked in Payson for more than 10 years.
"I believe Bashas' decision to open a pharmacy in the Payson store will be a benefit to the citizens of the town," De Los Reyes said. "We are looking forward to serving the health needs of the people of Payson in a courteous, timely manner -- in the tradition of the Bashas' company."
The Payson Bashas' renovation also includes a Cub House, which is a free, supervised play center for young children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 10 years old.
Parents can shop while a trained and experienced childcare staff supervise their children. The Cub House provides engaging and positive educational and social activities to enhance the development and self-esteem of children.
