Eleanor S. Meidroth, 85, of Payson, died Feb. 12, 2005. She was born Nov. 10, 1919 in Joplin, Miss.
Mrs. Meidroth lived in the Los Angeles area from age 5 until moving to Payson in 2002 to live with her son, Mike, and his wife, Deanna. She met her husband-to-be while both attended Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles. They married in 1941 and spent 60 years together until her husband passed away in 2000. Mrs. Meidroth spent her working life using her artistic talents affiliated with Buzza Cardoza Greeting Cards, Disney Studios, and Hughes Aircraft. She retired from Hughes Aircraft in 1982 and spent her remaining years traveling, gardening, and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Mike Meidroth and wife, Deanna, of Payson, Ariz; three grandsons, Greg, Mitch and Steve Meidroth; and three great-grandsons: Chase, Connor and Cole Meidroth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; brother, Jim, who died at the age of 21; mother, Rose Lowe; and father, Sam Stuart.
Services will be held at a later date in Santa Ana, Calif.
