Amelia Emma Aleccia, 93, died Jan. 6, 2005. She was born Jan. 31, 1911, in Zilwaukee, Mich.
Mrs. Aleccia worked for many years as a factory worker in the Michigan area. She and her husband Charlie moved to Star Valley in 1980, and loved Arizona.
Survivors include a niece, Delores Katros of Grand Rapids, Mich., and her family; and a grandson, Louis Charbonneau from Michigan, and his family. She is also survived by her surrogate daughter, Kim Fuller, and children Jacob and Elizabeth, as well as a good friend and caregiver, Cyndi Heinecke. "Millie," as she was fondly called, was also survived by numerous good friends in Payson and Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her son, Al Charbonneau; her husband, Charlie Aleccia; and her brother, Raymond Podvin.
A memorial service was held Monday, Jan. 10 at St. Philip Catholic Church in Payson with graveside services following at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
