Richard P. Taylor, 88, died Jan. 10, 2005 in Payson. He was born June 11, 1916 in Ambridge, Penn. He retired to Arizona in 1994.
Mr. Taylor was partner in the Taylor McDonnell Construction Co. for many years in Butte, Mont., where he opened and operated the Tadroh Dog Kennels. He was an avid sportsman. His life was full of fishing, hunting, field dog trialing with his English pointers, and trapshooting on the winter chain.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons, Ronald of Alameda, Calif., and Duane; four stepchildren, Lois Simenson, Jack Sammons, Richard Sammons, and Donna Walsh; two granddaughters, Meagan and Ashleigh; and one great-grandson, Benton.
